SUSO SAIZ is a sought-after producer (helming records for artists such as Christina Rosenvinge, Piratas and Diego Vasallo) and composer, with projects spanning jazz, pop, world and avant-garde music. After studying guitar at the Madrid Conservatory of Music, he established himself as an icon in the European new music scene by forming numerous experimental ensembles. His solo work has long explored multicultural trance rhythms and the psychology of ambience. Along the way, he developed a sophisticated, other-worldly approach to the electric guitar. Using highly personal techniques of sonic processing, Saiz's guitar work emphasizes texture, emotional potency and liquid manipulations of tone color. His most well-known solo recordings include Mirrors of Pollution, Hypnotics and Un Hombre Oscuro. FON ROMAN is one of the most innovative guitar players in the Spanish alternative music scene. Member of the alt. rock band Piratas from 1990 to 2003, he was responsible for the experimental direction the band took on its later years, which culminated in the band's creatively richest effort, "Relax". In September 2006 Fon put out a record of beautifully crafted pop songs, "Silencio cómodo en un jardín descuidado", which showcases his enormous talent as a songwriter.
