Are you ready for the lockdown? The "Ghost Adventures" crew --Zak Bagans, Nick Groff and Aaron Goodwin -- is back to investigate the scariest, most notorious, haunted places in the world.

The trio will interview eyewitnesses and historians at each location, arming themselves with the stories of the ghosts they will later provoke and confront during their dusk-to-dawn lockdowns. (Note: They don't always come out unscathed!) Then they'll review and analyze their findings with some the most respected experts and specialists in the paranormal field.

Anthony Bourdain

Anthony Bourdain is a 28-year veteran of professional kitchens, having worked as a dishwasher, line cook and chef in places good, bad and horrible -- most of them in New York City. In 2000, he published a memoir of his experiences in the culinary underbelly. Kitchen Confidential became an unlikely, but enduring, international bestseller.

Since embarking on a round-the-world trip for "A Cook's Tour," he has continued traveling for No Reservations (now in its fifth season), for various publications, for public-speaking engagements and because he likes it. After graduating from film school in Michigan, Zak moved to Las Vegas to pursue a career in documentary filmmaking. There he met "Ghost Adventures" co-host Nick Groff and cameraman Aaron Goodwin. Their first paranormal investigations as a team took place all over Nevada, and the footage they captured led to an award-winning, nationally-televised "Ghost Adventures" documentary

GBAC	Oct 27 2009 3:48 PM Taking Madventures off the schedule is such a mistake. Out of all the shows, they actually find the REAL cultures of the world, even more so than Bourdain or Zimmern could do (though I love both of them too). Methinks that Western sensitivity played a crucial role in the show's removal, which is sad... and though I disapprove, I understand that as a company, one has to listen to consumers' complaints. Whatever. Eating dog to some is just as normal as eating mac and cheese in the U.S. Heck, some cultures even think mac and cheese is an abomination! Madventures still rocks and was THE best and MOST informative show Travel Channel had, and now it's gone. Truly sad.

I drive forty miles just to watch this, as my home is forced to have CableOne which doesn't carry Travel Channel. I'm that addicted. I remade my myspace when I found out Travel had one...
