My name is Travis Kelley, owner and entrepreneur of Shear Terror Hair Designs. As a Licensed Cosmetologist and Freelance Session Stylist, which I immensely enjoy as a form of creative expression, I am constantly striving to perfect my skills in hair design, and hope that my passion and dedication show in my work and through my business.
I am also an aspiring Actor, with a few stints in several independent films. Currently, director/producer Robot Sanctuary Productions and I are in production of a grindhouse/slasher film entitled, "Shear Terror" (a homage to both of our love for genre films and a loose affiliation promoting Shear Terror Hair Designs). As well, I am also acting in another independent Pirate-themed film, called "Scorpeo", directed and produced by Particle 9 Productions. To view the Scorpeo Trailer, please go HERE! When times allows, I Model on occasion. Although I mainly work behind-the-scenes, and don't consider myself a model in a literal sense, I don't mind being in front of the camera from time to time. My primary goals with modeling are to obtain promotional photos to use in conjunction with my business, add more diversity to my portfolio, and hopefully achieve eventual published work in magazines that showcase tattoo work, clothing companies, alternative modeling, or anything hair-related.
As it seems, I tend to keep myself busy in most creative outlets, with writing, promotion/networking, music, photography, and movie production being of the most common interest to me. In the past, I have booked/promoted concerts and other events around the Florida area as well. I try to spend my spare time delving into these mediums whenever I can, expanding my knowledge and artistic insight as much as possible.
