Sounds Like
You tell me. Though it tends more towards Delta, Hi-NRG Attack or even SAIFAM Eurobeat, when I'm not writing in other genres.
UPDATE: I'm on iTunes, suckas!
Buy the songs from the 5-song sampler of "My Life as a Pixel" before the whole album is released! Yes, YOU could be the envy of YOUR internet neighborhood by having the new iTunes Odyssey-ness-o-matic-o-rama! So do it before Steve Jobs gets bored.
I'm Travis. You can call me Travis. Or Odyssey. Or "Grand Master". Or "Exalted One". Any one of those, really.
I've been into music a long time, and I do live instrumental stuff as well as my own compositions; the latter of which, I display here. Most of it is in the Eurobeat style, a variety of dance music that Italy makes for Japan. Think of it as... italo-disco or Hi-NRG, sped up, given a big Red Bull and a box of Pocky. And a keytar (not mine, though-- NOBODY touches my AX-7. :3 )
I have an interesting band history; I started off with my siblings in a group called "T3"; we did one gig and called it quits, for the most part. Then my friends at Trauma Llama invited me to play keyboards for what would eventually become the Head Dwellers, now known as Trauma Llama. After some experience in that field, and doing some composing of my own, I decided to start my own band, Just Add Fire. This summer we'll be ripping into our set and blasting some good 'ol Rock your way soon. (I'd type the metal thing, but for some reason it doesn't like the ASCII character for forward-slash.)
I can also make some delicious salads. Topped with bacon. Lots of bacon.
EDIT: Feel like lining the pockets of another capitalist pig? Donate to the Lots of Awesome Stuff for Travis Fund and you'll get your name in print here on the site. Ooh Ahh.
I've been wanting to try to make Eurobeat for the longest time, it's ridiculous. Love the stuff to death but just can't get a grasp on how to make it.
Your tracks have a bit of a MIDI feel, which is still charming on its own, but those leads. Oh God, they feel spot-on. Feel free to drop hints my way, anything that you may think help me on my way to a first eurobeat production.
Keep up the good work, I really just stumbled upon all of this on accident.
When are you going to mess around with Not Tonight? I still wanna collab with you for that song. :D I like your new additions, Let You Go is pretty good as well. Keep it up~~ <3
Eh dealing with some shit as always, life for me. But hey, what are ya gonna do? Amy was kinda giving a friend of mine hell the other day, wonder what her problem is.
Dude what's up?! Haven't talked to you in a while except for the times we run into each other once in a blue moon. How've ya been? I love Escape! It reminds me of one of those F-Zero games for some reason or some other futuristic game with an high upbeat theme to get you moving. Keep up the good work.
Hey Odyssey! I have just made a new mix now but this time it its 1 hour long! Its made from early super eurobeat songs. Since it is so big i can not put it on this site. Do you know a way? Anyway i have put it on Zippyshare which is a good site. Please download and let me know what you think!
