Travis Peery is a dynamic new voice in the Los Angeles singer/songwriter community. His original songwriting and powerful singing blends the grit of roots rock vocalists like Rich Robinson with the sweet and soulful style of Sam Cooke and Al Green.
Travis' first serious involvement with music came in 2004 when he co-founded the rock group Double Stamp in Claremont California. The group played parties at Claremont Mckenna College where Travis attended school. He began writing music in 2005 when he penned his first original song, "Sleep Won't Come."
Since then, Travis has continued writing material for Double Stamp and in 2007, the group recorded their first full length album entitled "Hand Tighten Only." Selected songs from the album are available for listening on this page and the album can be purchased through the links below.
After attending Law School in San Diego Ca, Travis moved to Los Angeles where he has continued to write and perform original material along with an eclectic mix of covers at various bars and music venues around LA. His engaging musical style which highlights his romantic lyrics and unique vocal abilities has earned him many fans so far so come out and see him live!
Double Stamp's first album "Hand Tighten Only" is now available for purchase on amazon mp3 and itunes. The links are below so go check it out!
