Elvis Presley played his first concerts at Madison Square Garden (attended by John Lennon and Bob Dylan)... Travis Michael Tooke was born.

Travis grew up in the Tampa, FL area.

While attending the Univ. of Florida in Gainesville, starting making music with a couple of childhood friends, named the band For Squirrels, and made a record for Sony/Epic in 1995, "Example." made another record for Epic in 1997 with Subrosa, "Never Bet the Devil Your Head."

Never stopped writing songs, now releasing "Artichoke" in December 2007.

Plays a mean game of ultimate frisbee.
