Influences
Influences are just as diverse as the band is, although the group does like to play music appropriate to the venue they are performing at, songs that the crowd may be familiar with, the group enjoys classic rock, country, blues and reggae - Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrics, Joe Walsh, Hank Sr. and Jr. Buck Owens, Bob Marley
We are not just another band—We are The Harvest Band! We play country, rock, oldies and originals. We play a wide variety of music including our own arrangements so that in any club, hall, lounge, auditorium or for your fair, carnival or outside event, in any situation we will provide quality live music and entertainment.
We are a three piece band with a full sound. We keep current with our music and we have played clubs and events in over 12 states. Our band has been established since 1983 and our members include Tom Robinson—Leader, guitar, keyboards, vocals; Mark Bailey—Bass and vocals; Jim Robinson—Drums, percussion, vocals. All members are versatile and enjoy having a good time with the audience. The versatility gives us the advantage of working the crowd and size of room.
We aim to please all age groups and types of dance clubs and events. We pride ourselves in our wide variety and abilities in music. For a Country Opry type show we can add a great female vocalist and entertainer, Beth Hunter. For more humor we can add a wonderful comedian, vocalist and sax man, Lonzo. Also available for select shows is the brilliant steel guitar and fiddle work of Vance Monday with his partner and wife Lila on percussion and vocals.
We feel because we are able to perform for any type and size of audience we would be an asset to your establishment or event!
