I don't believe in coincidences Everything happens for a reason Just as surely As we have different seasons Everyone once in a while We will stumble upon things That don't Appear as what they seem Whether in a good way or bad It doesn't really matter We just encounter them And they can make us happier or sadder We come across people Of all walks of life Some of them we keep close Because they make us feel alright Some we keep at a distance Because it just works better We don't mind seeing them from time to time But would much rather just write them a letter We come upon opportunities That we've long wanted Its turns out to be a great thing And we are glad we came upon it We learn in life There is triumph and tragedy There are ups and downs And we continue to try and figure out life's strategy So when you begin to ponder over things & people in your life Whether positive or negative, a friendship or a romance Keep in mind that all things happen for a reason It came upon you because of Chance
