I love animals (well duh, I wouldn't be in vet school if I didn't). I really like dogs although right now I do own a cat who is more or less like my child. I do have a dog who currently lives with my mom that I miss very much. I also admire the grace and beauty of the wild cats, especially the leopard (I love the spots!) I really think all creatures are amazing in their own ways although there are some out there I don't really care for (spiders being number one). Outdoor activities are a blast even though I haven't really had much time to do any of them. I definitely try to do what I can to keep myself healthy and fit. I enjoy seafood and sushi, and I really like Mexican foods and dark chocolate which will definitely take a direct path to the hips and thighs if I'm not careful. I enjoy working out at least 3 times a week (even that's getting hard with all the studying that I have to do).
Music
I mostly prefer to listen to R&B and oldies. I enjoy artists such as Earth, Wind, and Fire, Maze & Frankie Beverly, Stevie Wonder, the Isley Brothers, Luther Vandross, Barry White, Freddie Jackson, etc. I do listen to some rap but it isn't very often that I do so. I also like Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, etc. and Gospel music. I actually have a bit of all different kinds of music in my collection. I have also recently grown fond of the work of the late jazz pianist Vince Guaraldi.

Television
House, those Sunday night cartoons on FOX (The Simpsons, King of the Hill, Family Guy, still trying to get into American Dad). I used to wathc Mind of Mencia, South Park, some of the Adult Swim cartoons, Animal Planet, Discovery Channel and National Geographic when I had cable but I refuse to get it now because why pay all that money for something I barely have time to watch now with being in school? I do watch them when I have the opportunity though. I also like to watch some of the court shows like Judge Hatchett when I get the chance.
Books
Most of the books I usually read are African American fiction. However, I will read anything that just so happens to spark my interest. I like reading narratives. The Bible is also a very important book to read. It contains the instructions on how to live a good Christian life.
