We print our own clothing on American Apparel which is sweatshop free, and we use environmentally friendly chemicals throughout the entire screenprinting process. Hello! Emily Murray here, Adam's wife. Just wanted to let y'all know about the "Adam Murray Recovery Fundraiser" Golf Tournament coming up on September 5th. If anyone is interested in participating ($80 entry fee per person), sponsoring a hole ($100), or donating raffle prizes please contact Leslie Denton of OKC Abstract & Title Company @ 405-659-3345 (address & fax number listed on the flyer)
If you haven't heard, let me fill you in... My husband, Adam was riding his bicycle over the NW 10th Street bridge when a car hit him, causing him to fall off the bridge and land on I-44 Highway (30 feet below). He almost died, but there was a witness to the accident who called 911 and saved Adam's life. He is going through an extensive recovery, and we do not have insurance right now. The Golf Tournament is to raise money for Adam's medical bills.
There are also donation opportunities if you would rather not play a round of golf. We have set up an "Adam Murray Recovery Fund" at Bank of Oklahoma to pay for the medical bills we have gained so far. Just walk into any Bank of Oklahoma and let the teller know you would like to donate to the fund, and they will help you from there!
Companies or pretty much anyone can sponsor a single hole at the tournament for $100, and golf cart sponsorships are $200. Of course ALL the proceeds of the tournament will go in the Adam Recovery Fund to start paying off our never-ending medical bills. 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place prizes will be awarded to golfers, and LUNCH is included with the entry fee of $80 per person
