An upcoming singer / song writer, Ben Treffer was born and raised in the wide open spaces of western Nebraska.
His roots are solid Americana; much like his music. Ben sings of everyday people, ordinary places and real life events. His simple, yet poignant lyrics speak of home, hard work, love and heartache.
A former college athlete, Ben wrote "The Football Song" as moving tribute to his playing days and to anyone who has ever buckled up a chin strap or put on a pair of shoulder pads. Thanks to to the internet "The Football Song" has been adopted by numerous high school and college teams across the country, and it remains the unofficial anthem of the Chadron State College football program.
Even though he is just a few years into his musical career, Ben sports an impressive resume. He has opened for Emerson Drive, The Boulder Acoustic Society, Jim Salestrom, and The Jim Rice Band. He has frequently performed with Martin Gilmore of the Long Road Home Band.
Ben's musical influences include Chris LeDoux, Darrell Scott, Cross Canadian Ragweed and Garth Brooks.

A BIG FAT ONE POPS UP! out of NO WHERE! *not that i have anything against fat kids* its not their fault...but its pretty freaky actually. well anyways. Some Of Our Teachers SUCK this year. *not naming names* Oh & one has hair that N E V E R moves! and shes wonders why i have a bad grade!? ITS SO DISTRACTING!! well anywho. i did alot better in your social studies class last year. like i have a D!?!?!? wtf is up with that? "wtf" means what the frick. (but the eff word. but i never say that word :) Yeah Well, hali is doing amazing in social studies. (she has a D too) shhhhh[; But we were both gone for like a week. so yeah thats why. Ok well this is getting pretty long. and all this typing is starting to hurt my fingers. [ like that time you made us type a two page report about STUPID countries WE DONT CARE about!! and more or less know where they are!! ] but its all good. You Better Comment Back!!
