There is a timeless, classic quality about her. Even before she delivers a single note you can hear a melodic melody in her footsteps as she approaches the microphone. There’s joy in her smile and the genuine love she has for the art of music helps to illuminate the stage. She is extremely gracious to her audience, accepting their cheers and applause with a pure and humbled spirit. It is her pleasure to entertain them; she’s only doing what comes naturally…she’s doing her destiny.
It’s not a coincidence that Trei was born and raised in a city known for making musical history. Motown (Detroit, MI) in the late 70’s was the pulse of the American music industry. To a little girl with a big dream and a burning desire to spread love through song, the historical city became her stage. At the age of four, Trei was a local favorite; using her gift of song to touch the hearts of many through a Sunday morning church radio broadcast. With the support of her church family, Trei’s formal vocal training began at age six and soon music became the guide that would lead her to her destined path.
At 22 Trei.. left the sheltering arms of Detroit to spread her wings in the emerging music capitol of Atlanta. She was given the opportunity to sharpen her vocal abilities by working as a background vocalist for several La-Face recording artist. She also performed as the lead vocalist with a local jazz trio for an array of society events, galas, balls, and showcases-- from clubs to concert halls no matter what city she was in, Trei was at home on the stage.
Trei.. has since released her debut CD entitled “This Is Me” under the independent label “Inline Entertainment”. In 2008 Trei could be found performing in concert halls and venues all over the U.S. and in Asia. She was hand selected by a group of esteemed international promoters to headline an 8 week tour in Taiwan where she was the feature vocalist 4 nights a week at the world renowned “Brown Sugar Club”, in downtown Taipei. Currently you will find Trei working diligently on her second offering entitled “Singular Soul” which is scheduled to be released in the summer 2009. With input from some of the industry’s premiere musicians, music enthusiasts are calling “Singular Soul” a vocal emancipation of Trei that continues to line up with her continual drive to encourage and empower others to walk in his or her destiny. Listeners will definitely hear and feel a confidence and maturity in her vocals as she lovingly couples notes and phrases into a hybrid marriage of Jazz, Acoustic Soul and R&B.

It's magnificent to see the sunshine again. My Colorado is so beautiful; the mountains are so majestic, still snow kissed. Feeling the warm air of Spring trying to slip in. Yes, how blessed we are to know and understand that whatever we want and desire we already have. The Universe continues to give and we gratefully accept. We are blessed because we are Spirit filled...and so it is.
