    .......... .. Born, Nathaniel O'Rel Brown. Kap Rizzy was raised in a single parent household. Growing up in Tidewater Park(TWP) wasn't easy; it was regarded as one of the toughest neighborhoods in the Hampton Roads area. Kap's positive attitude amidst the crime and poverty, kept him focused. As a kid in TWP he met Purnell Salter, who would later become CEO of Collabo Records releasing two Kap Rizzy solo projects. Kap Started rapping at around 13. While in high school, he realized he had a strong passion for it! .. While listening to Kap's rhyme scheme the wittiness is apparent He has the to slip metaphors by you like the quickest point guard. "I've lived every goodtime episode, getting out the hood is the Antidote/ I've seen hoop dreams go down the same lane of Earl Manigault" (TRENDSETTERS Vol. 2: The Alliance - On My G) and "I'm not saying I'm thinking above ya, I'm the type that a think nothing of ya!" (TRENDSETTERS Vol. 1: Sky's The Limit - I'm So Hot) are two of many slick lines! There are over 25,000 CD's on the streets with Kap Rizzy recordings on them. Kap Rizzy is often commended for his efforts and hard work for collaboration features. .. ..TRENDSETTERS Hip-Hop music group Virginia- Coming out of Norfolk, VA (better known as Trendsetter City, VA), five individual artist were brought together under one independent label, Lockout Entertainment, to form “Trendsetters” Hip Hop music group.Trendsetters A movement designed not only to set trends as far as their lyrical abilities, but to prove to the world that hard work is the key to being successful in this business. Purnell Salter, the Ceo of Lockout Entertainment/Collabo Records, and the creative genius behind the Trendsetters movement, approached his artist K.A.P Rizzy (kicks and punch lines) of Collabo Records, G Staxs (Grizzly), Vanity (aka Vdot), Supress (bka Mr. Upsouth), and M.A.R Valuz with the idea of the Trendsetters Hip-Hop Music group and it's been grnd every since. Any and everyone embraced in their presence will agree that these individuals are confident yet humble, persistent, hardworking, and dedicated. .. .. Since coming together in the fall of 2007, the Trendsetters have accomplished an album “Trendsetters vol. 1, Sky’s the Limit” as well as a Mix CD line TRENDSETTER City!; being sold in several stores in VA and NJ, sold online at cdbaby.com/trendsetters, Apple Itunes, and lots more online mp3 music options. .. .. Utilizing successful promotional techniques by advertising heavily on the top radio stations in the Hampton Roads area, participated in radio interviews and other promotions/performances throughout VA, SC, NY, and NJ. The Trendsetters have recently garnered the 1st place showcasing their talents in the VA Put Up or Shut showcase hosted on Langley Air Force Base. Collectively the group has experienced performing in huge events and opening up for other big name artists as well. Besides performing at some of the notable venues like VA House of Comedy, Peppermint Beach Club, NSU, and Blakely’s, the groups has had more notable appearances working alongside BET and traveling to the UK to perform in both Amsterdam and London. .. .. “Trendsetters” , it’s not only a name, not at all a gimmick, but more importantly a movement.
