TRENDZ, Inc. (Taking Responsibility and Education into New Directions) is a nonprofit organization founded in 2004 committed to youth empowerment. Our sole purpose is to foster the growth and independence of young people within communities of color.
Our Mission: We value youth and their place in a challenging, diverse society. We commit ourselves to building a better community for youth where they can be cultivated into new leaders committed to change.
Our Network: A group of young people with similar interests and concerns for progressive growth and empowerment in communities of color (black, latino, pacific islander, native american)
Our Goal: To bring together a broad selection of youth that compliment each other's endeavors. To provide motivation, direction and increase access to social, academic, and political opportunities for young people of color.
