Tre Norske means "Three Norwegians." These Viking Women are Sissel Peterson on accordion, Megan Eymann and Juanita Holmes on violin. Tre Norske plays primarily Scandinavian dance music. They are available to play at parties and other events. During the 5 years they have been together they have played for Ballard's Syttende Mai luncheon as well as weddings, birthday parties, Scandinavian festivals, boat cruises and banquets.
Sissel, Megan and Juanita are members of the Norwegian Ladies Chorus of Seattle, as well as Tre Norske. They began playing at Sissel's urging when she learned that there were two dormant violinists in the chorus. Born in Norway and raised in Ballard, Sissel has been playing her accordion nearly every day since she was a schoolgirl and holds a wealth of knowledge about Scandinavian dance music. Megan and Juanita learned to play their instruments in childhood, but had strayed from the musical fold until shepherded back by Sissel.

Thank you Grandma! I for sure am keeping the house now that I have this new job. Lots to learn but it will be a great challenge. I hear we are getting together with your wonderful daughter on Sunday the 17th for my mom's birthday lunch or dinner (not sure which). Would you want to come this year? Nancy hasn't called me yet, but mom left me a message about the date. I miss you so very much. And Grandpa Axel too. I want to come down and visit but I don't have any time right now. I hope by September when chorus starts up again that I will be seeing you both more regularly.
