Sortie de la vidéo de Treponem Pal " Planet Crash " !
Après avoir terminé une vaste tournée européenne avec le légendaire groupe post punk Killing Joke, les français de Treponem Pal sortent un vidéoclip réalisé par David Kenny (Genertik Ltd), un habitué du rock extrême et un expert du genre des visuels déjantés.
Dans le clip " Planet Crash ", Kenny et le chanteur Marco Neves visent à fusionner l'énergie punk industrielle avec la danse japonaise appelée Butô.
Les paroles de Marco Neves évoquent l'intensité que l'homme peut produire en vue de construire, mais aussi pour se détruire lui-même. La vidéo montre une puissante synergie et l'harmonie de deux cultures : l'industriel et le Butô.
Il s'agit d'une nouvelle vision, une nouvelle version de la danse et la transe. Le Butô, brut et primitif, fusionne avec la puissance sonore de " Planet Crash ".
La vidéo a été filmée à Londres à 3 Mills Studio (réputé grâce à des réalisateurs tels que Tim Burton ou David Cronenberg - www.3mills.com), réalisée et éditée par David Kenny et sa société de production Genertik Ltd (Londres - www.genertik.com). Treponem Pal to release " Planet Crash " video !
After completing an extensive European tour with the seminal post punk legends Killing Joke, France's Treponem Pal are now releasing a music video directed by David Kenny (Genertik Ltd), an expert in extreme rock genres and all types of crazy visual journeys.
In the " Planet Crash " video, Kenny and lead singer Marco Neves aimed at fusing industrial punk energy with a Japanese dance called Butoh.
Neves’s lyrics often conjure up the intensity man can generate in order to build as well as destroy himself. The video is an extremely powerful synergy and harmony of two cultures : Industrial and Butoh.
It’s a new vision, a new version of a dance and a trance. The raw and primitive Butoh along with Treponem Pal’s sonic assault merge to take us to " Planet Crash ".
The video was filmed at 3 Mills Studio in London (famous for directors such as Tim Burton and David Cronenberg – www.3mills.com), directed and edited by David Kenny and his production company Genertik Ltd (London - www.genertik.com). Video production coordinator is Samara Kain, dancer Marie-Gabrielle Rotie and David Kenny together with Bruno Mathez holding the cameras.

1992, le pachyderme Treponem est invité par Ministry sur la tournée Lollapalooza... Une
première pour un combo français. La hype est optimale.
1993, " Excess And Overdrive ", l'album fétiche des puristes du groupe, percute les bacs.
Produit par Franz Treichler (Young Gods), ami de longue date, le missile skeud sème la
terreur dans la Matrice... Tandis que l'inflammable single " Pushing You Too Far "
incendie le dancefloor.
1995, le syndrome néphrotique, soniquement transmissible signe sur Mercury / Polygram.
Le buzz des cinq francs-tireurs est à son paroxysme.
Sacha, cortex en chef de KMFDM, se charge de la prod du blindé " Higher ", enregistré au
Bad Animal de Seattle (studio de Soundgarden et d'Alice In Chains).
Toujours plus lourd, toujours plus groove, " Higher " confirme l'hétérogénéité des
parisiens.
Hardcore et sans remords, c'est ici un abrasif gang bang sonore que met en scène
l'entité de Marco N... Entre métal narcotique, indus cyclothymique, funk épileptique,
dub hypnotique et minimalisme teknoïde (la reprise du cultissime " Radioactivity " de
Kraftwerk).
La machine Treponem a fini de conquérir le monde. Et toutes ses sphères rythmiques...
1999, parenthèse initiatique...
Marco Neves, responsable du label Hammerbass et du sound-system Dub Action, se
concentre, le temps d'une respiration cannabique, sur son opus solo " Elephant System "
produit par l'éminence grise d'On-U Sound, Adrian Sherwood. Une conséquente
tournée accompagne cette sortie. Dans la foulée, le très sollicité cerveau de Trepo
sort quelques compiles (Anthologie Gothique, Rap Metal Masters, Big Up !!, etc...).
2006, l'appel du Ganesh métallurgique est plus fort que tout. Rechargé à bloc par ses
diverses expérimentations percussives, Marco s'attèle avec Didier B. à l'écriture d'un
nouveau virus vinylique.
Changement de line-up : Polak (guitares), Pierre (ex-Worm Machine, basse), Marto
(batterie) et Dread Fred (guitares) se greffent au tandem. Plus tranchant et décapant
que jamais, l'électron libre s'attaque au nouveau millénaire.
2008: le panzer " Weird Machine " est signé sur Listenable Records (Gojira...).
Avec au compteur plusieurs albums incendiaires, un parcours de précurseur encensé
jusqu'aux States, quelques alliances coups de poing (Young Gods) et des invitations
première classe en tournée internationale (aux côtés de Nine Inch Nails, Prong,
Ministry, Faith No More et Godflesh), le fer de lance parisien du métal-indus
méchamment groove, carbonise les bacs avec ce char d'assaut mixé au napalm. Enregistré à Genève, coproduit par David Weber, Marco Neves (Chant, développement), Didier B.
(claviers, samplers...) et Polak (guitares), composé par ces 3 derniers et featuring en
très special guests feu Paul Raven (éminent bassiste de Killing Joke, Godflesh, Pigface, Prong, Ministry...) et Ted Parsons (Swans, Prong, Jesu), le missile balistique prévoit de télescoper nos boomers en avril 2008.
Toxique, métallique, électronique, ethnique, électrique, psychédélique, sidérurgique et
toujours plus éclectique, Treponem Pal signe avec ce nocif " Weird Machine " une
déclaration de guerre dans les règles de l'art.
Une bombe à retardement de manifeste urbain, véritable arme de destruction et de
distraction massives, à l'ouverture et à la dangerosité stylistiques ouvertement
assumés.
Un rouleau compresseur sonique à tester sur scène lors de la tournée européenne, prévue

J'ai rencontré ce mec il ya 15 ans ! Dès le début de notre rencontre une très forte connexion s'était établie entre nous ! C'était un vrai être humain, très optimiste et qui vivait sa vie à 1000%. Notre vision et nos goûts musicaux étaient vraiment larges et ouverts sur beaucoup de sons aux couleurs très différentes. C'est ce qui était très important à nos yeux pour créer quelque chose d'original et nous permettre de sortir de la routine quotidienne. C'était un vrai rebelle, un authentique " rude boy ".... A chaque fois qu'il montait sur scène il communiquait une véritable décharge atomique !!! Il utilisait la musique comme une arme !!! Mais le plus important était la manière dont il aimait tout partager avec ses amis et les gens en général !!!

I met this guy 15 years ago ! The feeling from the very beginning was
a very strong connection ! A true human very optimistic and living the
life at 1000 %. Our vision of music and our taste so opened in
different ways, to a lot of different sounds and colors, which is so
important to create something original to bring us out of the same
classic " routine ". He was a true rebel, an authentic " rude boy "... coming up
on stage with such an infectious energy to offer !!! He was using
Music as a weapon !!! And the most important was the way he loved to
share everything with his friends and all people in general !!!
A VERY UNIQUE HUMAN BEING ! AN ORIGINAL FREEDOM FIGHTER !!!
