Bio
.. ...... .. .. .. .. LYNN BLAKEY has been performing and writing songs for much of her life; formerly a member of Let's Active and Oh OK, She now fronts Glory Fountain, a rich, textured rock band well loved in the Carolinas and elsewhere. 2002 saw the release of Glory Fountain's sophomore effort, "The Beauty of 23," which garnered raves from Billboard, Amplifier, No Depression, and others. In November 2006, Lynn married Ecki Heinz, a fiddle player, and since then the couple have been performing in the area, and are complaining of being deafened by the applause. Blakey is also a famed harmony singer, and has performed on records by The Velvet Crush, Jeffrey Dean Foster, and others. .. CAITLIN CARY was a member of Whiskeytown from its inception in 1994, and, since the band's demise, has released two solo records - "While You Weren't Looking" (2002) and "I'm Staying Out" (2003) - as well as a five-song EP, "Waltzie" (2000). In 2005, Caitlin recorded and released an album of country duets with her friend and writing partner Thad Cockrell. "Begonias" made a lot of critics' top ten lists that year, and the duo toured extensively in the U.S. and abroad. She's currently writing toward a new solo record, and playing solo shows here-and-there when the Chicas aren't busy. .. TONYA LAMM was a founding member of Hazeldine, a sultry, desert-inflected rock band whose debut album, "How Bees Fly," won the hearts of European fans and critics alike. Three subsequent records ("Digging You Up," "Orphans" and "Double Back") were released in Europe and in the U.S., and Hazeldine has left a beautiful mark on roots music. Lamm's vocals have graced recordings by artists such as James Iha, Neal Casal and Alejandro Escovedo. Tonya now divides her time between the busy Chica schedule and the raising of her daughter Sofia. .. ........ .. ........ .. .. .. .. .. .. -

This second installment of the Detour series invites the viewer to revisit the perceptual experiment conducted in Detour 1 only instead of presenting the images in a rapid succession, here they are slowly fragmented almost like a puzzle occasionally coming together to form complete images. - Gavilan2 years ago
