I'm into the spiritual/metaphysical, wonderment, confusion, and inconvenience of life, the serendipity of conversations with strangers, and learning as much as I can about what's hidden behind the veil of the everyday existence
I play guitar, bass, trumpet, percussion and sing, and like to make up my own words (provided I can come up with an equally convincing etymology for them) I speak French, German, and a little of both Italian and Spanish...one of my favorite things to do is play music with people I've just met and let the improv/magic happen.
I am well travelled...having been in at some point or another...Lexington, Philadelphia, Seattle, Paris, Los Angeles, Chicago, Norfolk, San Diego, and Austin....let's just say I've been around...Been playing music since age 6 when I started on violin, I play guitar, bass, trumpet, percussion and sing. I've had the privilege of playing with a wide range of musicians in every genre (jazz, classical, pop, rock, country, experimental, etc.) - and I like to think every one of those people has influenced me in some way, shape, or form. Currently, in Austin to complete the last "mile" of my musical pilgrimage and find my "eightfold path" companions.
