Trespassenger hails from Finland and it was founded at the turn of the millennium. For the first six years the band was called “Envy”, but the guys figured out there were too many bands called with that name, so it was time for a change.
During these years young boys grew up and their musical skills have developed. So, in the beginning of year 2007 band has found its own musical style. Nowadays Trespassenger plays melodic death metal with some Gothenburg-style and technical elements, growling vocals mixed with little melodic singing, mind-crushing guitars and basses, incredible drum patterns and an atmosphere created by synthesizers to spice up the music.
After all these years, there hasn’t been changes in the line-up, which is:
¬ Anssi Rissa: Lead guitars & vocals
¬ Lasse Mäkelä: Guitars & background vocals
¬ Raimo Manninen: Synthesizers
¬ Tomi Latvala: Bass
¬ Rami Rissa: Drums
The band has made gigs mainly near its hometown Kuortane. Trespassenger has also made few gigs around Finland; mostly those gigs have been some kind of band competitions (in which the band has gained some success, like two first prizes…), but the band wishes to make more just ordinary gigs around Finland and possibly outside the country.
Trespassenger has recorded six promos during these seven years and the band’s biggest dream is to record a full-length album. And Trespassenger works hard for it!
Acrania is a melodic Death Metal band with a LATIN touch, it is dynamic Experimental Death Metal.
