The OSU Sweater Vest T-Shirt debuted during the 2007 football season. It is meant as a tribute to the greatest coach in the country, Jim Tressel. In his short tenure as head coach, he has led the Buckeyes to a National Championship in 2002 and the two most recent National Championship games.
Every weekend, fans come dressed in sweater vests and ties. Well, we decided that the full get-up was too expensive and too complex. It was time for something that was a little more ironic.
The Sweater Vest T-Shirt is not a silkscreen and actually all one shirt. The white sleeves and v-neck are sewn into the red body, creating a nice 'layered look'.
