About me: Triad Ifa is a Winston-Salem based house of Lucumi Ifa-centric Orisha worship. Our goal is to bring the religion of Olodumare, Ifa and the Orishas to all people in the area. "This is not just a religion for the African or Hispanic. This religion is for ALL people!" says our priest, Babalawo Joshua Bailey (Oshe-Bara). Our house is an extension of Casa Orula Otura-Nico Eggun based in Washington DC. Our Babalawo has four years as an Ifa priest having been consecrated in Ifa in Oroyo Naranga,Havana Cuba by Oluo Eloy Hernandez Otura-Nico and Jimmy Ifa-Lade Oddi-Roso. Ceremonies occur throughout the year with continuous instruction in the religion, and consultations with the oracle of Ifa are by appointment with Baba Josh. Also offered are Rogaciones (Head Cleansings), Ebbo' (Sacrifices), and ceremonies for recieving the Warriors and Eggun Staff. Requests for larger ceremonies such as the Bajar de Orunla (finding your ruling Orisha), Hand of Orunla, Olokun, Ocha and Ifa initiation must be directed to Baba Josh for consultation with the house in DC.
