Gio - Lead Guitar - Gio,joined the Triaxis family in March 2006, and as soon as he plugged in, blew us away with his technical ability. He's as mad as a box of frogs too!
CJ - Rhythm Guitar - we're not sure whats more metal - her or her collection of Jackson guitars! An original founder member of Triaxis, she likes her riffs, hard, loud and heavy.
Bass - Owen Crawford - an experienced all round musician who has recently joined us. We look forward to playing some gigs with him very soon.
Giles - Drums - ex.guitarist who took to drumming just over 2 years ago and never looked back!
Krissie - Vocals - an awesome vocalist who has bought a new edge to the band. Krissie is very experienced, and we are extremely pleased to have her on board.
Influences
Metallica, Megadeth, Maiden, Ozzy, Dream Theater, Slayer, Vai, Satriani, Priest, Dokken, WASP, Dio, Symphony X, Nightwish, all the 80's metal imaginable, modern metal, prog..... The list goes on.....
Sounds Like
A lot of different bands at the moment, but our original stuff has a mixture of old and new school.
Welcome to the myspace page of TRIAXIS, we are a heavy metal/hard rock band, based in Swansea, who were initially formed in September 2005. Initially, there were four of us - Ivor on vocals, Darren on bass, and CJ and Giles on guitars. After many months of hopelessly trying to find a drummer, Giles took the brave decision to sell all of his guitars, amps and effects and take up the drums full time (he's been a drummer in his early teens). Shortly after that we took on Gav who's knowledge of lead guitar and technical ability bought that extra edge to the band. Triaxis commenced gigging in September 2006, and were received well. The band parted company with Ivor, but brought in Thumri, who recorded our first ep with us during april 07, followed by many many gigs, before leaving for uni. We have been lucky enough to welcome Krissie to the band who brings experience and motivation. Add to that we've recently been joined by Owen, an all round excellent musician and our new bassist. Triaxis are currently writing and rehearsing and are now hunting for venues to rock out at! You Tube and Website .

New tracks!: The new tracks have arrived! And very pleased with them we are too! Owen has been showing off his mixing and mastering skills, as well as some funky bass lines, and has done a sterling job. We also proudly launch our new track Lord of the Northern Sky which has Krissie showing off her lyric writing abilities (she's not just a raunchy voice you know?), CJ's guitar sounds meaty, G's double kick is uber sweet and Gav's solos...well awesome would be the only word. We're very pleased with how they have turned out and hope you enjoy them too.
We're prepped and ready to gig! So drop us a line!
