Full Bio(Get the story)
The first glimpse of TRIBAL PATH, started many years ago.
While Felix and Francisco, just barely started sprouting facial hair.
Cisco, managed to get his hands on his very first guitar, hours upon hours of practice, blood, sweat and tears went in to every note and melodic symphony that stemmed from his soul. He managed to form a small garage band, which shortly there after felix was already a promising drummer.
One day Felix decided he had the balls to walk in and show his brother and the rest of the band what real talent he had. CRACK!!!!! CRASH!!!!!!!!! BOOM!!!!!!!!! Like a thunderstorm, a barrage of beats and vibration came hurtling through the neighborhood and Felix and Cisco started their journey on the way to what would be Tribal Path.
Fast foward to 1999, while The brothers guy perfected their talent, a newly acquired bass was in Matthew's possession, countless hours where spent and sleepness nights where claimed as Matthew perfected his raw talent his unique ability to improvise any bass line to any song was what was going to make him a Legend.
Mean while James was already an accomplished R&B singer.
His time in the studio was always well spent but, in james cases he felt he could have done alot more. Studying diligently different types and ranges he felt that there was no one who could compare to his vocal prowless.
Matthew moved to Arizona in 2003 and formed a number of garage bands all which lacked a certain, originality that he was looking for, so he decided to explore and seek out new bands with a better understanding of his calling, which led him to what would be Tribal Path.
In 2006, upon meeting the brothers he was intimated at first, but with skill and courage raised his axe above his head and proceded to blow away Felix and Cisco with his speed, grace, and improvisation. The 3rd member was locked in.
Then, in early 2008, James could not explain the reasoning, but knew change was near and decided to start in Phoenix, Arizona, when at the same time Tribal Path was looking for a singer, having gone a few not so talented singers, atleast some that would not compliment them.
It was not long til James noticed Tribal Path's plea, he nervously came to the studio and wowed TP with his vocal power!!! and at that moment, Tribal Path was born.
Since then, Tp has had many shows, of which they have received high standing, gotten new friends along the way , as well as many fans.
Late 2008 they recorded in Phase 4 studios where their demo album was created.
On March 1st of 09, thet were in Battle of the bands competition, and tied first placed, the finals are at the end of july.
Tribal Path is a band, no, an experience that everyone should try, their ability to command a broad field of music, from metal to funk and rock, there is no limit to what these guys can do.
When asked what kinda of music they would like to focus on, their reply
" We wanna do it all"
That ladies and gentleman, is the future of Music.
