After a quick start and hard work is the result after blood, sweat and tears: Tribal Spirits. With a reasonable setlist are: Alwin(Vocals), Jory(Lead Guitar), Bart(Drums), Wesley(Guitar) and Niels (Bass) ready to charge the stages of Holland and beyond.
The fiveheaded unit makes a mix of heavy Metal with influence of: Metallica, Slayer, Lamb of God and lots of other bands. A rough and melodic sound with fast guitarriffs, hard drums and with recognisable vocals. In other words: Heavy Thrash Metal!!
Tribal Spirits was founded in 2004 by Jory Hogeveen. In the first 6 months many have come and left in time. It began to live when Martin Kroeze was approached and 2 months later Alwin van den Nagel. We wrote our first songs this year along with some cover songs. We've been kicked out our practice location because of to much noise. We continued then in the polder (Dutch Flevoland). Tribal Spirits was born.
Tribal Spirits did their first concert this year on the Kunst(K)week, organised by CCNV Harderwijk. This became with the help of Sebastiaan (from Amehoela) as extra guitarist a great success.
During that concert Yoni Drijfhoud joined the band as 2nd guitarist. We gave another 4 concerts this year. Tribal Spirits changed a lot, along with the new website we made a whole new look and logo. We've been asked after our concert in Park3 to record our demo Possessed in Amsterdam. And we recorded some material. In December Yoni Drijfhoud left the band and we continued with 3 members.
Tribal Spirits did our last gig with Martin Kroeze at the Metal Battle this year, witch was also a great success. We yet made 2 records. A little crew joined the band, and Alwin and Jory went to several Jamsessies to play. This year we ordered our first shirts, and later also buttons, stickers and pick's. Before summer we found Bart Rouw as our drummer and 5 day's later we even did a gig with him.
The 2nd part of this year we found a new rhythm guitarist: Wesley de Peuter. And where working on our material. In December we won the préround of the Kan-van-Almere, "band with the X-factor", and did 2 more great shows for a good end of this year.
We entered 2007 with much enthousiasm. Along with our gigs we recorded a demo cd for promotions. And in march we made it to the radio for the first first time, with "NK Grunten" as subject wich was founded in 2006.
We also found a new member this year. Niels Kroon is bashing the bass from now on because Alwin wanted to fully concentrate on his vocals. We released our first disk in Juny: Possessed (EP). It contains 6 tracks witch will represent our style verry well. Many different musical aspects along witch a great amount of thrashing.
We are working on new songs and trying to get as many gig'ss as we can!

Jullie ook bedankt! Jullie hebben het toch maar voor elkaar gekregen om een pit om 19.20 te krijgen. Geweldig! Het was best een twijfelactig tijdstip, maar jullie band is zeer zeker niet twijfelachtig, dat is duidelijk! :D Ik werd zondag met een giga griep wakker en ben nog steeds onder het genot van paracetamol aan het uitzieken. (...zucht...) ik zal deze week achter de foto's aan gaan, want ik weet precies van wie de camera's waren ^^. Uiteraard krijg je ze zo spoedig mogelijk opgestuurd!
