Enrique Oliveras & Cynthia Gallant-Oliveras are Scholar Warriors in the true sense spending their time in practice of Martial Arts, Healing, Meditation and Music and Art in their various manifestations. ....They are Co-Founders of Holistic Therapies & Fitness Programs whose Myspace site can be found under HTFP in our "Friends" listing. Henry & Cynthia teach and help others heal through Body and Energy work that incorporates Shamanic practices such as music, laying of the hands in Zen Shiatsu, Cherokee Bodywork as taught to them by Lewis Mehl-Madrona of the Lakota Tradition, Aura work, Crystals and more. Having studied with some accomplished healers they found strong similiarities between Cherokee Bodywork and Tui Na Asian Bodywork. After speaking with Master Zhang Yuan Ming, a noted scholar warrior of Chinese decent, it came to our attention that the belief is that Native Americans have Asian ancestory and travled this way when the plates were close. Would love your input and information.Very interesting! ....Tribal Winds asipres to play for all peoples offering healing work for barter to assure all are able to receive treatment. ....Their 700 Hour Integrated Zen Shiatsu Program will officially open in the Fall of 2009. Enrique & Cynthia perform healings for people and animals, Ceremonies for the passing and passed who cannot complete the crossing over, home and property cleansings and lead healing drums circles nationally.....Enrique has a Borinquen heritage, from Borikén, its indigenous Taíno name. The terms boricua and borincano derive from Borikén and Borinquen respectively. Enrique grew up with music. Though his main instrument is voice he also plays acoustic guitar, bass guitar, keyboards and hand percussion instruments in a supporting capacity. Henry's R & B/Urban Contemporary Music site may be found on our Friends listing under "Que".....Cynthia has a Mic Mac heritage and is a classically trained Flautist having won several state compititions in Massachussetts and sings and plays hand instruments in a supporting capacity.....The musical works are the fulfilling of what they feel is a void in the healing music community. Far removed from the usual "Celtic" sounding New Age Music, there first release, "Spirit Call" is a extremely earthy collaboration of original and traditional music that utilizes drum and chant to stimulate the spiritual depths of the listener. ....They are currently working on their second release that does cater to what many have become accustomed to hearing in the New Age Genre however they maintain a promise to continue to bring new textures into each release in an attempt to reach all aspects of "The Spirit" and encourage healing on all levels for all listeners.....We hope you enjoy their works and pass on the news of this new collection of healing music..... ..
