Tribe 2 Entertainment is an Independent Native (Navajo) owned and operated Record label and Production company. The company is the first from the reservation and has been a major influence and inspiration in the hip hop scene on the Navajo Nation and the Four Corners (NM, AZ, CO, UT) area for 15 years. Tribe 2 Entertainment promotes Cultural Awareness, Native Empowerment and Self Motivation amongst all Native people. Co-founded by brothers Mistic and Shade who both have traveled throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico spreading the positive messages of their people through music and traditional culture. Both brothers have performed, produced and worked with various mainstream and independent artists and have gained a strong sense of the business firsthand through experience. From their hardwork and dedication they came up with a style of music that is original and has reached and touched many lives young and old. The influence of using their Navajo language and traditonal songs sets them apart from other artists and labels throughout the country. They have also have made the next generation their focus by speaking at various Youth Conferences, Schools (K-12) and Universities throughout the country about the importance of self identity and culture. Whether it's speaking to the youth or just rocking the crowd, Tribe 2 Entertainment get's the message across and the impact and response is strong and positive. They educate and enlighten the youth and their peers through traditional teachings from experience and knowledge passed down from their elders. Their motivational talks and lyrics hit home and touch on all aspects of Native life the good and the bad. Topics ranging from Alcoholism, Drugs, Poverty, Suicide, Gangs, Racism, Prison, Domestic Violence, Child Abuse, Politics, Native Language, Education, Prayer, Respect, Pride, Traditional Medicines and Ceremonies. There on a quest to show America that Native People are more than just buckskin, feathers, drums and beads. Tribe 2 Entertainment is on a mission to represent their people through the power of prayer and music. With 12 albums and hundreds upon hundreds, upon hundreds of shows past, present and in the future. It looks like Tribe 2 Entertainment will continue to remain a driving force on the Navajo Nation and Indian Country for many more years to come...... We'd like to thank everyone that has been with us from the beginning of this movement, without you there would be no us. Thank you all for the prayers, songs and words of encouragement to continue to represent our people in a good way. There is so much negativity, fighting, jelousy, hate and envy amongst our own people and communities we're trying to make a change for the better. It's an everyday struggle to walk the straight and norrow on this crooked path of life it's time to warrior up with no excuses. We're at the forfront of this war and we will continue to do what we do and hold it down for our family, friends and fans.
