It was December of 1999, Tribe was formed by Doug Howard and friend Robb Vigil. Time after time we struggled to keep it going with musicians coming and going. Finally Rob left for good, leaving Doug to continue. As the band progressed through lineup change after lineup change, Doug kept plugging along. Putting up with whiners, alcoholics, liars, attics and back stabbers. There were some very good times in the band however, selling out theaters, opening for nationals and having a killer following. It seemed as soon as Tribe started making real progress, someone in the band would quit and screw it up. Then back to square one. The last show was 7/26/08 Doug's birthday. How Ironic. I remember two guys quitting right before a July 26th show and didn't have enough professionalism to fulfill the obligation.

People can say anything they want. I could care less. It is a wonder how anything got done at all! Through it all, I've kept my drive. Why is it that some of the local so called musicians think they are rock stars! I have paid my dues and will continue to do so. I am still working my ass off. Hungry, dedicated and determined. I love writing and playing music.
There are now 2 guys that vow to stick it out with me! Dustin and Dana.
We have changed the name and are starting over with a fresh new outlook and sound. Judged By Twelve is the new order. Once we find a DEDICATED BASSIST. This band will hit the scene with an unstoppable drive and energy. The best thing Denver has experienced in a very long time. Stay tuned for Judged By Twelve.
