This is a FAN SPACE for John's music career! This space is for fans to pay their respects and enjoy his music.
John Luraschi is recognized throughout the world as a S.O.A.P Creator ~ SOUND OF ASBURY PARK. (Video below.)
Born in 1952, Luraschi began playing bass and singing professionally on the Jersey Shore when he was fourteen years old. Earning the respect of his fellow musicians, Luraschi performed as a bassist and vocalist on many albums coming out of the area.
While battling Stage IV cancer in 2008, between chemotherapy cycles, Luraschi's spirits were lifted by the opportunity to record his own CD through the benevolence of Joseph DeMaio of Shorefire Recording Studios.
Rose Montana had brought it to DeMaio's attention Luraschi wished to leave behind music he created for future generations to enjoy. DeMaio's offer was heartfelt and immediate for his friend.
Artists graciously accepted the invitation to record and volunteered without hesitation.
In early 2009, Bruce Springsteen paid tribute to his long-time friend by recording a duet with Luraschi ~ "Savin' Up" which was released internationally and is available by requesting it on your local radio stations as well as satellite.
