Scott Turner left this earth to eternal life on February 9th, 2009. May he rest in peace.
In 1992 a young, green, songwriter from Alabama mailed Scotty a demo. Scotty took the young writer under his wing and developed him, taught him,and encouraged him for the next 17 years. That young writer was me,and I will never forget my mentor and friend. If you're real lucky, once in your life a great person will cross your path and change your life forever. For me Scotty is that person. I miss you Scotty.
Hi Friends and family of Scotty Turner, I had the chance to work with Scotty in the late 1980s, he was really a great producer, player, and all around great human being. A man that will greatly be missed by all of us who knew him.. He brought the best out of my vocals, and taught how to write songs. He also gave me the greatest encouragement when he took me under his wing. Somewhere there are songs he had me sing. I never got hear that stuff, because in 1991 right after the last airing of TNN American Magazine Show, where I sang Lost Lonely Feelin Blue, three days later my neck was broke in a back accident. it took me out of the business for long 17 year of recovery. I'm happy to say that before his death we were able to once again talk and work a little on my son Nathan Wayne who is up and coming.. Thank you Sandy for putting this page up for all of us who knew him. Scotty is resting in peace!! Thank God we have Scotty's years of work to always remind us of a great man. God Bless You Bobby Pizazz.. PS: here is a player with a few songs and "Finally Coming Home" http://www. reverbnation. com/widgets/trk/13/art..
Scotty you will be greatly missed, thank you for giving us the tools to live a songwriter's life. "I'm in the Spot light, guess I'm a star, But I'd be nothing without YOU"
