About me:
Hello, I'm Trish De V. Writer of many words, painter of abstract, modern, contemporary artwork, and eternal optimist.
I live in North Devon - and at the risk of sounding a little unimaginative - wouldn’t want to live anywhere else.
I write a lighthearted column every week in the North Devon Journal – you can usually find me on page 19 - and it's posted on the internet too. If you check out the 'thisisnorthdevon' website, click on 'news' and then 'columnists', you will eventually get to me. More personal observations (stuff too ruff for the NDJ), can be found on here... on the blog. I'm a member of North Devon Arts and have taken part in the NORTH DEVON FESTIVAL ART TREK this summer. One of my pictures is hanging in the Queens Theatre Gallery Cafe in Barnstaple and a couple more are at the 360 degree trust in the old sawmills in Filliegh.

Hi, thanks so much for the add! Hope you're having a good wk so far. The art on your slide video is awesome. I love the purpley one. :-) I used to do some drawing and painting, need to get back into that again. Hugs Marisa XX PS I guess you never write gig reviews? Hugs Marisa XX
Good to have you back hunny! Love the pics! OOOh and by the way Chris and Jaynes first baby sounds like its gonna arrive today or tomorrow! Speak soon. Cx
I'd love to and have often thought about it - especially when the beer festival and Birdman were appealing for bands but it's not really feasible for all six of the band to do a 600+ mile round trip for a one off gig. We've also discussed doing a number of gigs over a couple of weeks but that will take a fair bit of planning. Maybe one day.
what my favourite colour ?? what my favourite number ?? what do i first see in opp sex ??
by the way, nice to see you in barnstaple the other day with your two daughters ..... i didn't shout across the street to you, just in case you were embarrassed to know the 'wet one' lol
I could say I was fighting the law and the law won, but the truth is rather more prosaic...
I was in Finland, test-driving the buggy down a rough, steep granite track that runs through the forest to the house when I 'did a Hammond' (a minor television personality elevated to fame when the BBC decided to spin his crashing of a dragster into the lead news item for about two weeks. By the time it became obvious to everyone that there was actually nothing wrong with the guy, Hammond was the only person in these septic isles who didn't have brain damage).
Obviously, being a Welshman, I wouldn't consider wearing a crash helmet, butt. The damage was done by a sharp rock. I had to have various lumps of stone and bits of tree dug out of the wound before they could stitch it. Look at the pupils, I'm still in shock! The scar looks kind of dashing though.
Good Luck! I will be sitting at my checkout thinking of you. I think I'd rather be jumping off Ilfracombe pier than answering the many and varied questions posed to me by our summer visitors! I will swap with you next year. Lynda x
