Tricia Sebastian, of Chicago, is a children’s performer who sings traditional and original songs with a fusion of Latin American influences. Tricia’s recent discography includes her own album Canta Conmigo- Sing With Me; Old Town School of Folk Music’s award winning albums, Songs for Wiggleworms and Wiggleworms Loves You; and Chicago Parents Magazine’s compilation Cd, Singin In The City, featuring Chicago’s best children’s recording artists. North Shore Magazine believes that “she’s climbing her way to kiddie superstardom” and Fred Koch of Chicago Parents Magazine states that “it is obvious that Sebastian spends a great deal of time with children--her songs are child-centered and full of fun.”
As an educator, Tricia directs the very popular Coro de Las Americas children’s choir for Old Town School of Folk Music where she has been teaching bilingual Wiggleworms for the past 10 years. She also works in music integration for Ravinia Festival’s outreach program at Cleveland Elementary where she teaches music to children K-3rd grade. Tricia continues to perform numerous children’s shows each year in and around Chicago.
whats up sis. here is the pics i took of the fish me and my buddy george caught on sunday. he told me he knows how to cook fish and i told him i knew where some fresh black drum were hiding. in all, we caught 10 drum but only 6 were keepers. we fried 3, blacken 1, and grilled 2. it was a good dinner to say the least. i even got elda to eat some fish.
just wanted to get you jealous a little bit LOL. here is all the fish that me, dad and uncle boe caught this weekend at my secret spot. a total of 4 keeper black drum and dads 19" flounder. and of coarse on sunday we ate 100% never frozen fresh fish. when are you and steve comeing down to corpus next?
whats going on sis. i heard that yall are going on a vacation the same time we are. me elda and the kids are tring to go to disneyland in LA this summer. i havent been there since we were just kids. i still cant forget the long drive though the dessert in the caca brown 1980 AMC Concord. those were the good ol times when gas was 50 cents a gallon LOL. anyways, have a good trip and send me some pics.
Can't wait to buy the new album! Let me know when it's all done. I don't think we'll be able to make the field trip. CPS has some crazy new field trip policy and we have to have everything turned in super early if we are paying for it. They can't just write out checks anymore (or at least that's what our school is telling us). The kids miss you and were asking about you today. I read them the Grouchy Ladybug and a couple of them remembered performing it. Hope things are going well with you and the family!
