Sounds Like
Being a covers band the sound is often dictated by what th bnd are playing.. We aim to have a meaty rock sound with stand out lead guitar and thumping Bass and Drums. Vocally Nicks voice is powerful and often sounds like he might be singing in Iron Maiden or Deep Purple rather than in a local band... Check it out yourself by lisening to the tracks on this page. The demo is a quick example of the bands potential, check out Hell Ain't a bad Place to be (and listen right until the end for the Freddie finish from Nick!) for a classic rock tune sung to the limit, watch for the different approach to 20th Century boy, and for pure enjoyment Foxy Lady........
Trick of the Light are a Classic Rock covers band from the Ely/Cambridgeshire area. There have been a few lineup changes since their formation in late 2005; the band now consists of Steve (Vocals), Bob (Lead Guitar), Ian (Rhythm Guitar), Lorry (Bass) and Simon (Drums). The band performs covers of tracks from bands such as Queen, ACDC, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, T-Rex & Free, just to name a few. We are currently looking to book gigs for 2009, If you would like more infomation please message us on myspace or on trickofthelight@hotmail.co.uk
