Sounds Like
Bootsy Collins jaming with Ennio Morecone at 'country night' round Tom Waits shed.
We formed on millenium eve with one unanimous idea, to make punchy funk driven country folk and broken but beautiful rock and roll music.
Armed with telecasters, violins, trombones and one of the more solid rhythm sections in the north of britain we embarked on a journey to find a new sound, our sound.
Consequently (and sometimes inadvertantly) we somehow managed to create some of the finest and strangest music we had ever heard. "This is amazing" we said unanimously "we have succeeded to a degree" and we all agreed that we should let the world know of the things we had found.
So, we wrote all the songs down in full score, stuffed them into a bottle and threw it into the sea.. NOTHING HAPPENED! "Right!" we thought unanimously "time for plan b" and we loaded all the boxes into our regulation coloured (yellow and black) van, climbed in behind them and headed out into the great wide world.
above is a gig list, read it and perhaps make notes, you will not regret making the effort to come and see one of our concerts and this is where you find out when and where they will appear.
NEW ALBUM OUT NOW
we've finally finished our first masterwork, it took 3 years but we're very proud of it
