With the recent explosion of artistic talent in the field of music, Trifeckta is taking aim, and is set on making his name one of new notable producers in the industry. With no major song credits to date thus far, Trifeckta is patiently perfecting his craft; in the attempt to break through into the game with his own, undeniable style.
Although he plans to be known in households worldwide as Trifeckta, William Smith, as he’s known to family and close friends, understands that it doesn’t happen overnight. He’s been calmly learning and growing as a producer/beatmaker since 1999. Back then, with a mind full of melodies, and a few basic music programs, he first started dabbling in the art with his cousins (G and Khay) as a part of Family Tyes Productions. Being of three separate minds, bodies, and spirits, life lead them each on their own different journeys; with music remaining the common denominator.
On his journey, he has linked up with other producers like LB, Tech Supreme, Trouble, and The Vanguard Project, who all share similar styles and ideals, as well as serving as motivation and competition for each other. On his own, Trifeckta experiments with different genres of music, which he encountered as a result of living on the east in Baltimore MD, west in Oceanside, California, and gulf coast in Houston, TX, as well as his birthplace of St, Louis, MO. If you listen closely, you can hear each area’s influence in all of his work.
Putting his skills to the test, Trifeckta is known in some online circles, and in his hometown as an accomplished beat battler. “Smashed”, “That Work,” and “No Way” have helped him to attract the respect of his peers in his field, as well as that of local, national and international recording artist. Up-and-coming artist such as Kap(Houston, TX), Duce Dime(San Antonio, TX), Young Fedie(St. Louis, MO), Screwz-and-Scripts(East St. Louis, IL), Tef Poe(St. Louis, MO), Khay(Atlanta, GA), J-Dollar(Pontiac, MI), as well as countless other. With the intent to throw his hat in the ring of every media market possible, Trifeckta knows that it’s only a matter of time until his work finds placement on a major recording artist’s number one selling single. Though the money and accolades is appealing, Trifeckta is more so focused on being respected worldwide as a talented musical mind, and a hit making machine.
