.. .... ..FINALLY! Can T.R.I.G.G.A change the rap game? Targeting the industry one person and one culture at a time, T.R.I.G.G.A offers his life experiences over the years musically and as role model that so much of the world is looking for. T.R.I.G.G.A offers relevant enjoyment as his creativity speaks on everyday issues that bind us from the source of true life. Upon the criticism that rap and hip-hop have taken, why is there so little being done about it? The target remains in scope. With T.R.I.G.G.A, you will find a way of life, his HEART, and a mission. So who is T.R.I.G.G.A? T.R.I.G.G.A is an american recording artist on a mission. Born and raised in the deep dirty south as he calls it, of Ralph, AL is where it all began for him. Raised by two hard working parents in the south he recalls wasn't easy, although, while being brought up by mom, brother, and grandparents T.R.I.G.G.A's dad was a disc jokey for a local radio station 97.9 WTUG "theBeat," in which he says alot of his musical influence came from at a very very adolescent age. "My dad would listen to all sorts of music I remember, I mean everything." "People like the great Marvin Gaye, Michael Jackson, the BG's, Parliament, Prince, Frankie Beverly and MAZE, Shiela E, Gap Band, Phil Collins, and so many more I could name from different era's." "He had crates upon crates of albums and eight tracks." T.R.I.G.G.A accounts that he was hooked on the different sounds, voices, and instruments that came from a small portable device in which we call today a "radio" or back then a "jam box." T.R.I.G.G.A comments, "My mom says I would just be beside my dad kneeling as he listened and listened for hours soaking it up." While the Dj gig lasted for a short amount of months for his father, the family looked for more stability in lifestyle so his dad enlisted in the army. T.R.I.G.G.A's family traveled to many different places around the U.S. and were stationed in different cities and states. .. .. At one time the family lived in Germany while dad served, as he says was a life changing experience. "I was able to see how differently people lived culture wise and grow up listening to the types of music that they were accustomed to." As he grew in years coming from a background where music was always in the house of aunts, uncles, and cousins, he says that everyone listen to what they liked be it rap a la Kurtis Blow, KRS one, LL, to traditional gospel greats Canton Spirituals, Shirley Ceasar, and more. T.R.I.G.G.A's deep south roots trace all the way back to the church and the small town of Ralph in Tuscaloosa, AL. With the families drive to make a better life for themselves, they ended up in Ft. Worth, Texas in the eighties. With mom and dad working full time jobs he recalls always having a knack to write rhymes and record on whatever device. "I would practice, practice, practice, on tape recorders, radio's, karaoke machines, pretty much anything that would let me hear myself and critique." By the time this budding artist in the making, around 2002-03 linked up with a fellow wal-mart friend, he dropped his first studio recorded album titled "Armed n Dangerous." "I remember when my friend set me up with some musicians that really helped me, it was just monumental to me, when I finished the album I started performing it right away and just stayed the course." "I love writing about experiences, things that you go through, positivity, and life changing moments. .. .. T.R.I.G.G.A states that his stage name draws enough attention itself, but does not represent what the world asses it to stand for and represent. TRULY-RISING-IN-GREATNESS-GEARED-ABROAD. He states that with so much negativity in the world "you have to stand for something and do your own part as a individual in staying positive." "I have to personally give it all up to God who has brought me this far no doubt with my roots and foundation for life." Although T.R.I.G.G.A has always been writing before ever releasing albums, his latest is the UnExpected EP, with hot hooked tracks like Generation Flava, Believe, MOVE, and more, he has appeared on many features of all sorts and compilation mixtapes. He moves at a rapid pace lol his name, to performing at marquee venues like The House of Blues, Texas State Fair main stage, Six Flags Theme Parks, National Tours like the Extreme Tour, TV videos on Bet-MTV, and the list goes on. He is gearing up to make another national splash with more albums, singles, media, and remixes already released and coming. Lookout for Mr. TRULY-RISING-IN-GREATNESS-GEARED-ABROAD as the sky is about to be taken over by a phenomenal person and artist to be reckoned with, T.R.I.G.G.A. .. .. In 2007, T.R.I.G.G.A was named Best HipHop Male Artist by The Toronto Exclusive Magazine Awards for his single, "Generation Fava". This top honor was the turning point for this talented young artist along with other notable accolades glancing at a beefy presskit. The rap industry suddenly took notice of this up and coming new artist. T.R.I.G.G.A finally received the recognition that he deserved and had worked so hard far. .. .. "Armed and Dangerous", a much anticipated debut album from T.R.I.G.G.A, was released with a mission. Not only is the album getting great publicity and praise for what God has done in this young mans journey, his straight forward lifestyle speaks for itself, as he is definitely a light in any environment. .. .. Now that he has proved to the rap world that he is a force to be reckoned with, T.R.I.G.G.A is getting his point across that rap music does NOT have to be about all the negative things that are wrong in today's society. .. .. The world is looking for role models and T.R.I.G.G.A is determined to express himself in a positive way, sending the message out to the youth in the world that rap music CAN be a postive style of music and life. .... .. .. .. ..
