TRIGGER are a 6-piece, original, unsigned, stadium rock inspired band from Bromsgrove, Worcestershire (The Midlands). Since the band was formed in 2003 by husband-and-wife Dan and Sally Trigger, they've sold out The Artrix Theatre in Bromsgrove, had a song used in a film, appeared on TV and Radio shows and released 3 full length original albums.

"Dan and Sally Trigger, to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary, have written a musical about how they met, got together and formed their band. 'Rock & Romance' is due to be staged at The Artrix Theatre in Bromsgrove on 3rd and 4th October 2009!
Rock & Romance is a musical set in the 1980’s, and is based around the events that lead to Dan and Sally meeting, falling in love, and forming their band 'TRIGGER'. The story follows how the character of Sally, who starts out as the down-trodden but well-meaning heroine, gets to meet her idol Dan Trigger, whose character is a local heart-throb rock singer. Events lead to Dan losing his current girlfriend and his band, and as both characters hit rock bottom, they begin to work together and get very close, and form their own band 'TRIGGER' which goes on to be a huge success.
The style and fashion for the show is all based on the 1980s, so expect big hair, bright make-up, shoulder pads, ripped jeans, leather jackets, bandanas and leg warmers. The soundtrack for the show is mostly classic TRIGGER songs which fit perfectly with the stadium rock style of the 80s, and we have also incorporated a few popular songs of that era."
There are various characters to be cast in 'Rock & Romance' for both men and women who are 18 or over when we hit 1st October 2009. There are parts for actors, actresses, singers and dancers, and we have both big AND small parts to cast, if there is anyone that wants to take part, but does not feel suited to centre-stage!
