After years of perfecting our sound and producing the highest quality of music we know how, Triggered Impulse is poised to take over the local music scene.
In early fall of 2007 Triggered Impulse began to take its roots in Bristol, PA when Drew (Bass/Backing Vocals) and Eric (Guitars) came out of their own musical retirements to form a band in which to play music the way the felt it should be played. After finding a drummer and a singer, they began to do shows spanning Southern New Jersey, the greater Trenton area, and Philadelphia. Encountering a few minor setbacks along the way Triggered Impulse recorded their first demo "When Obsession Meets Opportunity" with then vocalist Sean Barner and drummer Rob Geverd, not very long after the band parted ways with Sean, and realizing their new creative freedom immediately began recording the upcoming full-length album "Wake Up To Reality".
During the summer of 2008, before recording began, Triggered Impulse got back onto the scene doing several shows featuring vocalists from other bands in the area, these included Max (We All Have Day Jobs, myspace.com/bluecollarbrutality) and Shawn (Sicker Than Most, myspace.com/sickerthanmostband). Along the way the boys picked up a second guitar player that even further expanded the band's musical ability. Mike (Guitars, also Drums/Swashbuckle myspace.com/swashbuckle) added harmonies, solos and some of the best riffs the band has written to date. In the fall of 2008 as recording of "Wake Up to Reality" was set to begin, Triggered had finally found it's Vocalist, Bryan (Ex. Capitalist Death Machine).
With Mike's commanding and catchy riffs, Bryan's politically fueled lyrics and Hardcore style vocals, Eric's technicality in every riff he wrote, Drew's ability to make the bass fill the role of a third guitarist and gutteral low growl, the band was once again set to take off. But again, setbacks are inevitable and after recording all, then fourteen tracks, of the album the band parted ways With long time drummer Rob.
Now with Mike filling dual roles as the band's Guitarist AND Drummer, "Wake Up To Reality" is set for a Summer 2009 release.
Featuring eleven original songs, plus a few bonus tracks, the album is set to grab your ears from the first second and not let them go until the bitter end.
