Dia Dhuit! [Greetings]
Trilsean (it means "Braiding" in Celtic) is an exp a n d a b l e duo (we don't gain weight, we gain members). After ~17 years, Cym & Robin have finally got a CD to show for their years of performing:-) "Love is a Labyrinth" is available for download here as individual tracks or an entire album. The CD features the extreme talents of my partners in rime and rhythm: Cym, Gareth & Bob and the recording and production wizardry of Steve Berry of Phantom Studios in Portland, OR.
For further "us" stuff, check out my work as Benjamin Franklin (www.ben-franklin.org) Cym's education work at The Interactive History Company (www.interactivehistory.net) Gareth's saucy band Celt Check (www.celtcheck.com) and Steve's hard rockin' group - Onyx Guild (http://www.myspace.com/onyxguild).
You can purchase a download of the CD here using the Snocap screen. Or, send $18.00 (includes Ship/Handling) to G.Robin Smith - 2511 Victor Place, Everett WA 98201-2558
The album download gets you 4 extra songs (3 alternate versions and a children's story background soundtrack) that you don't get on the actual CD.
"Love is a Labyrinth" has been a long path in coming. We hope you enjoy the journey. Best, Robin, for Trilsean.
Thank you so kindly for your add and comment on my work. it is a pleasure to have such kind words from such talented individuals as yourselves. As somebody with celtic history, i find your music beautiful and haunting. it really takes me to a time and place forgotten by the modern world. thank you for sharing your talent with me.
Thank you for your patronage and thoughts! I thoroughly enjoyed what I've heard thus far on your myspace page keep up the good work both of your voices meld together beautifully.
Hi to all my MySpace friends around the world! I don't usually use Myspace to promote my own beliefs, but I was recently asked to sign a very important online petition asking international bodies like the WTO and IMF to work to rid the world of child labour. There are so many children suffering in this world so that we can enjoy cheap luxuries and an easy life. There is not much we can do as individuals, but this we CAN do. It's easy...one click and you're there, one more click and you've made a difference! I spent the first half of my life in Hong Kong (I'm 13 now) and I've seen little kids in Southern China exploited and vulnerable. I always remember that but for an accident of birth, I could have been one of those children. I'm not asking you to run a marathon or anything...just move your mouse here: http://www.icftu.org/petition.asp?Name=childlabour - and do the right thing. Thank you and have a great summer! Aysha.
hi trilsean- It has been a pleasure to have you as a friend - sorry I have not visited as much as I would like to - this is what I have been doing. Its really different to my classical piano - I call it 'piano dance'. I would love you to click on the pic and join my new myspace page for a totally different side (the wild side) to my music and to hear something not usually done with the piano! Fingers crossed, hope you like it.
Hello TrilSean, sorry for the delayed response, we've been away touring and stuff.....but finally...tis a pleasure to befriend you, cheers for finding us.
Hi Trilsean! Thanks for checking out my pages, hope you enjoyed the music. You can now join the new Charlie Barker forum here at MySpace. Wishing you all the best!
Hello! Ta for finding us, hope you enjoyed the tracks. Just listening to your wind and rain! We do a version of the 2 sisters with a 'wind and the rain' chorus that we got from Jon McCormick. Thought it might be that but it's not.....must be one of those 'floating choruses'! Great stuff anyway guys.
