"Trimalchio ( tree-mal-key-owe ) is a band which is evolving.
Starting off as an acoustic trio the band quickly began making a name for themselves because of their distinctive style, as they gigged around the North East of England. In the beginning, as for most new young groups, they were often travelling round as an unknown act supporting other bands that were often local to the towns and cities where they were playing. Invariably after these shows however, Trimalchio found themselves with new armies of fans in Newcastle, Durham, York, and Leeds and the quickly developing fan bases in these areas followed Trimalchio to their increasingly popular live dates.
Taking the attributes that made bands such as The Red Hot Chili Peppers; Ben Harper; The John Butler Trio; and Jack Johnson, as successful and respected as they are and combining them into a new exciting sound, that is what makes Trimalchio's music so appealing.
The live shows engage the crowd through the intensity and diversity of the tracks being performed, which Trimalchio provide with relaxed assuredness. Effortlessly attracting an audience's attention, even between songs Trimalchio seemed to maintain a natural, confident relationship with the crowd.
With a new compilation of some of their best material available to buy for the first time, some upcoming dates at some of London's most notorious venues for newcomers, and at least three festival dates lined up for this summer, it is highly recommended to go and see this band in the near future, because once you have, it is difficult not to foresee them quickly achieving many successes in the music industry."
