Sponsorship will involve the cost for a few lap tops and adminstration cost of conducting a nine month pilot project of the program in a selected school or community. CRIME Of The CARRIBBEAN. This is a big issue since there is now a big upsurge in serious crime like murder and kidnapping in Trinidad, Jamica, Bahamas .... It is blamed on the amount of convicts deported to these unprepared third world countries. Really ? Any scientist knows that combustion, or any fire need all 3 elements to happen, that is oxygen, fuel, heat. Likewise, crime cannot spread with deportees in a vacuum. Their must be other elements to support crime like unemployed and fustrated local youths; social services that are not very effective, etc. Let us starve the flame of crime by caring about and educating the youths. Placing them in a classroom is not education. Corporations must realise that we can have a win win win situation here in the carribbean, where we can enjoy these paradise islands without having fear of fear. Corporations must show they really care, and spend on social development such as education, and encourage innovations. They should not only look at the tangible returns on investment/funding. I say this because they, the Governments, and many other share holders appear to care, but over two years has passed and no assistance or even interest in an education break through regardless of many pleas to at least consider a small area where a cortributions can be made such as a used outdated computer (can you believe that?).
