Trinity Blue was born in 2003, when pianist and vocal artist Sara Illig stepped into a recording studio for some unofficial fun and released 4-songs. Soon after, Steve Ybarra climbed on board bringing the savoir-faire he incurred while touring with Johnny Solingers (Skid Row) solo project, as Texas Tornado Dave Hinemans guitar tech. Rhythmically accompanying Ybarras shredding leads is the long sought talent and expertise of Tom Coyne. Coyne united with the group after a hiatus from his previous projects, White Gold and the Austin Symphony. During his hiatus, Coyne kept bass - busy jamming with members of The Mahavishnu Orchestra, Blood Sweat and Tears, and The Motels. Coynes expert musical direction and talent at arrangement are an integral piece of Trinity Blues unique sound. One more miracle for this musical vision was still needed: introducing Berklee trained Tom Baumgartner on drums. Having played in more than one symphony and former drummer of Austins Julie Burrel, Baumgartners unsounded musical ear and international experience completes the soundscape that is Trinity Blue.
Fans have described Illigs sassy vocal style as Kate Bush with an edge and Trinity Blue as a cross between Led Zepplin and Tori Amos.

MACEO PARKER and Gary Clark Jr. FOR 2 NITES JUNE 9TH AND 10TH AT ANTONES!!!
5th & Lavaca ~ Austin, Texas
In the spirit of Clifford Antone (1949-2006)
Come out and see one of the best shows you will ever see...
The amazing Maceo Parker and Gary Clark Jr. for two nites...I assure you that you will have an awesome time. Maceo Parker was James Brown's right hand man back in tha' day "from baritone saxophone, to tenor, and eventually his current instrument alto saxophone - Maceo's signature style helped define James' brand of funk, and the phrase: 'Maceo, I want you to Blow!' passed into the language"...and has thus since built his own empire of funk. This is legendary and if you like to dance...I'm sure you will be set right into the groove with Maceo's funky beats.
Come out and support the Antone's Nite Club in style.
You can go to the Antone's website for more info and to purchase tickets in advance at www.antones.net and also visit their myspace at http://www.myspace.com/antonesnightclub. ...
Hope to see ya there...seriously you don't wanna miss this!
