The Andy Declerck Trio (alias "Trio Déjà Nero"), arises earlier accidentally after tried out some compositions (15!) of Andy Declerck. Their music includes especially jazz, latin and fusion.
The 3 wierd guys of the band are saxophone player Andy Declerck (Belgium), Jouni Isoherranen (Finland) on the bassguitar and Pieter Vandergooten (Belgium) on drums.
August 2007
The first gig in jazzclub Buster in Antwerp, Belgium. The concert gave good vibes for the musicians and the audience, that they decided to go on with the project.
September 2007
After the jamsession in Afkikker (Gent) and the next performances on the agenda; Andy, Jouni and Pieter drove to Deerlijk to Andy's house for a first recording session with a homestudio equipment.
In the night, jouni made this myspace, Andy was setting up the 'improvised studio' and Pieter ... was drinking a lot of wisky!!
After a short night, these songs were recorded. There comes a second session, when there's a good vibe again...
2008
Not that much is happening with the band, but I'm busy with composing, new songs will come ...
April 2009
For the future : The band will change the name into Andy Declerck Trio. Andy is composing some new songs and move forward after the summer of 2009. Hopefully, the band can organize a cd recording in the autumn of 2009.
They played a gig in Abracadabar, in Paris, were Jouni is living for the moment. They had a very nice time!!
