El encuentro de la cultura popular europea consigo misma y con las diversas migraciones en las orillas del Río de La Plata a finales del siglo XIX y principios del XX dio como resultado el nacimiento de una de las corrientes artísticas más importantes de la cultura latina del siglo XX: El Tango. En homenaje a esta época milagrosa y buscando el recrear este espíritu del primer tango, de los orígenes y de raíz, de las fusiones pioneras y sus sonoridades, nace el Trío del Novecientos. Tres músicos de muy ecléctica formación, reconocidos especialistas en estilos tan diversos como el tango, el flamenco, el jazz, la música brasileña o el barroco dan vida a este proyecto de investigación, recuperación e interpretación de un repertorio de baile fresco, brillante y original que son las primeras obras que se pueden llamar tangos o milongas, un género hoy centenario que ha crecido de la mano de varias generaciones de geniales creadores. Su privilegiada instrumentación y una gran inquietud por la búsqueda de ancestrales sonoridades también permiten al Trío del Novecientos afrontar incursiones en otros paisajes sonoros, desde el barroco, la música celta, el impresionismo o diversas corrientes del siglo XX, completando así un repertorio ameno, amplio e inusual. ______________________________________________________________ The meeting of European popular culture with itself and with the different migrations on the banks of the River Plate in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries resulted in the birth of one of the most important artistic movements of Latin culture Century XX: The Tango. In honor of this miraculous time and looking to recreate the spirit of the first tango, the origins and root, mergers and pioneering sounds, born Trio Del Novecientos. Three musicians from very eclectic training, recognized specialists in such diverse styles such as tango, flamenco, jazz, Brazilian music and the Baroque give life to this research project, recovery and interpretation of a dance repertoire fresh, bright and original which are the first works that can be called tangos and milongas, a genre that has grown today centenary of the labor of generations of great artists.
