Tzane'm, jân, mot d'origine persane, qui a voyagé à travers les âges jusqu'en Turquie, en Grèce et Bulgarie, pour dire âme. Le Trio Tzane est l'histoire de la rencontre à Paris de trois femmes, trois nationalités, trois univers différents qui se racontent des histoires si différentes et si similaires à la fois, les chantent en grec, turc, bulgare, serbe, macédonien, etc. Ces histoires balkaniques, elles les chantent en polyphonies, à leur manière ou à la manière des ancêtres, en mêlant improvisations vocales à de toutes nouvelles compositions de jeunes compositeurs. C'est un voyage de la Macédoine à la Turquie, en passant par la Bulgarie, l'Epire et la Mer Noire. Une histoire dite par troix voix qui se croisent puis s'éloignent dans des harmonies particulières.

Tzane m', jân, This persian word, that travelled through the centuries from Iran to Turkey, and then to Greece and Bulgaria, means ‘soul. Trio Tzane is the story of a meeting. Three women, three singers, three nationalities, meet in Paris and decide to join their voices in polyphony. They tell stories so different, yet so similar. They sing in greek, turkish, bulgarian, serbian, macedonian, telling balkanic stories, sang in their own way on in the way of the ancestors, mixing vocal improvisations with compositions of young compositors. A voyage from Epirus and Macedonia to Bulgaria, and then Turkey and the Black Sea. A story told by three voices, that join and separate in particular harmonic patterns.
