About me:
TripConnect is a nifty new social networking website that helps travelers connect with one another via shared interests and experience.
It’s easy to get up and running on this engaging site, which has been described by some users as “MySpace meets Trip Advisor.” Members sign up for free and fill out a brief profile page, checking off places they’ve visited and future destinations on their wish list. Once registered, users are able to expand their network of friends by posting reviews, asking travel-related questions, uploading photos and joining special interest groups, such as the newly formed Gay & Lesbian group.
TripConnect is running several contest promotions through September 22nd, encouraging members to post a review, upload a destination photo or answer travel questions. Prizes include a hundred dollar American Express gift card and an iPod shuffle. Not a bad incentive to start your own travel network!
