Diverse and ambient. The atmosphere of the songs is mellow, a bit eerie, and layered. The music has a therapeutic hopeful feel overall. A very different underground, indie sound, and each song grows on you more and more as you listen to them. The music is pure, raw, emotional, and haunting at times. These are different songs that are held together by pure passion and emotion, but that’s what the best art is based on. Point being Triplegem has great material in a strange and different way. -A&R Select www.arselect.com
With an original unique songwriting vision and a distinctive ability to mesmerize the listener with moody melodies and bright aural vibrancy, Triplegem is showing listeners a new facet of the presence of rock. Triplegem’s expansive and progressive soundscapes are both artful and surprisingly accessible.
Triplegem is an act driven by determination – and it’s no wonder. The project of an adopted child from Guatemala, Tomas Condit is the product of a mind belonging to a dreamer. Rescued from potential hardship and poverty and delivered into a life of hope and compassion, Triplegem’s Tomas Condit has been the personal recipient of life changing events.
And it has inspired hope – and music – in the heart of a person whose mind is filled with “dreams of which have been translated in life through experiences of love, loss and self-exploration.” He was only 6 months old when he was brought to the United States. But his visits back to his homeland – three thus far – have brought him more and more focus on what he perceives as his purpose in life.
Condit is a perceptive, thoughtful person who pours his observations into his music. “I’ve often felt that eerie feeling of living moments once before and have learned not to shrug them off, but to listen to them and understand that each moment is unique.”
Funny, but that’s the sort of reaction Triplegem’s music inspires in many listeners.
Triplegem is hard at work on his first album, with a release date this year. Once the album is complete a Triplegem tour will be planned.
