BIOGRAPHY:
Tripped and Falling is the first rock band from the twin isle’s of Trinidad and Tobago to break into the British rock scene. Having made a tremendous impact with their latest offering ‘Victoria’, the album marks their continuing growth and musical maturity of this band that will inject new life into the current musical landscape.
Killer Dienamite Magazine says, “Tripped and Falling has top quality songs, full of passion, energy and with a flawless vocal front. This is the sort of record you'd expect from a worldwide famous, major label band” Punktastic.com calls the album “An absolute blinder” and Planet Loud commented that the album was “Dripping with melody, but with enough bite to rock you from the top of your head and right through every bone in your body”.
The accomplishments of Tripped and Falling continue to accelerate with their first UK video and single instantly making it onto both national and international TV stations such as Kerrang! TV. Having also picked up on the buzz, the band has been gaining feature slots and major airplay on BBC, Pulse Radio and other top stations, adding to their already strong presence.
In March 2007 the acclaimed Metal Hammer Magazine featured the band in their “Incoming – New Bands To Watch” segment calling them “Radio Friendly Unit Shifters” and commented that “It is refreshing to hear a band with such heart and soul”
With their Caribbean background sneaking its way into their live shows, one is left in certain disbelief as to how five young men hailing from tropical paradise can be doing what they do. Giving a live spectacle of raw power, persona and impassioned energy, the band have played sensational shows to massive crowds at festivals such as The Rockstar Taste of Chaos Tour and major venues such as the Mean Fiddler. Tripped and Falling is the must see band of 2007!
