"so how many tripping hazards does it take to screw a lightbulb?"
Tripping Hazard was conceived in a bathtub at Bathurst and Harbord in down town Toronto on February 11th, 2005. Tripping Hazard was born in the upstairs of the Poor Alex Theater over drinks, conversations concerning Frank Zappa, Babes in Toyland and mysterious face wounds.
While continuing to hone their live chops among the ridiculously talented groups of Toronto's independent music scene, and occasionally road-tripping to rock other cities/towns/fields, Tripping Hazard continue to write and demo at the Ostrich studios. They have released the self-produced EP, "It Can't be Pounding in Your Head if it's Throbbing in Your Groin", in December 2005, and the cassette EP "Leprechaun Nipple Clamps" in March 2006.
In August 2008, Tripping Hazard released "It Can't be Pounding in Your Head if it's Throbbing in Your Loins", an all new version of their first EP and have just birthed their first full length, "Wron: Suicide Goat" , which was recorded at Johnnyland, Moondisc, Skylight and Ostrich studios.

You guys played rocktastic at Sneaky's. Great way to release the beast, wronchy (haha) and sweet...more drag than a Kids in the Hall sketch...new ivory tickler that adds punch to the tight drums, amazing guitar and swingin' bass...Cd sounds great in my discman. Congrats, homies!
How was the release at Sneaks!?! Wish we coulda come over....totally tied up across the street though.....still think we shoulda roped off the streets and declared it a Thursday night festival.....!
