Trippy Wicked & The Cosmic Children Of The Knight are a two piece rock band from St Albans, UK. They smell like rock n roll stoner doom sleaze blues and bridge the gap between super heavy riffing and foot stomping good times.
"Singer Pete Holland...plays with a grin permanently plastered on his face, a grin that’s replicated on more than a few faces in the crowd." - Alex Hambleton, DTA Promo
Oh baby I like it raawwww! We have a mini album called Imaginarianism. It'll tear your face off, make you grin from bloody cheekbone to bloody cheekbone and you'll be tappin' yer toes the whole way though. If you want one, come find us at a gig or mail us via our website.
We sometimes play the blues...
We won these...
We use these...
We were transmitted by Jo Fahy @ Life fm here (Click Pic for Link)...
Killer tunes last night had me rocking my tits off. Some serious Groove mixed in with some heavy laden riffage and pounding skin beating. Diggin it. Big Muff all the way!
Cheers again for trecking down from the Shire on Saturday to sunny south london. Was nice to see some local faces ha ha ha. Chris how much do we owe you for the photos, we don't wanna be sued as we can't afford the court fee!!
What do you do with crumpets? Lick the holes (dam straight).
i transmitted you! yess. how was last night?? sorry couldn't come - me and gemma had a bike ride, as you know we are in training for the capital to coast in July! x
Howdy all. thanks alot for comming down last night, hope you enjoyed it. sorry i didn't manage to catch up with you after the set but if you want some cd's i could put them in the post/give it to you the next time we meet..
We're creaking back into action and back at The Horn in St Albans next Thursday (Feb 28) where we will in all likelyhood rock like melon farmers - also back "running" a few nights at The Flag - you are, of course welcome to come play.
i did a couple of gigs for the world famous "brading day" with a bleedin awful function band out on the green and everyone just sort of stood around looking at each other while we played. and during our break the keyboard player put on his casio keyboard demo as background music and he wasn't even joking. hahaha. great days.
i also did a gig at the bugle and the landlord came running after me in a dramatic fashion shouting "oi" and whatnot, wanting me to pay for my drink even though the band got them for free but he didn't realise i was in the band and much hilarity ensued. ah. wipes away a tear.
again, great days.
well those are my 2 priceless brading stories. now as for the squaddie, i only went in there once cos it was a bit scary for me. i did almost rent one of the flats above it about 6 months ago though. but i thought better of it after i had a look inside. the floors were all wonky, a bit like the crooked house at blackgang chine. and the stairs up to the flat looked like they had been used in a "don't do drugs kids" commercial.
