Sounds Like"As each song ended, I could hardly wait for the next to begin. The songs on this cd are intelligently written and effortlessly performed. The musicianship is tight....while they (NIN) brought this certain sound to the mainstream, it is a band like Triptaka that will revive it, take it up a notch and keep it fresh and entertaining....Let the war begin..." (5 stars)

- Ken Kopija Jr. @ HardRockandMetal.com

"They have been influenced by some well known and respected bands but they didn't become copycats. The songs are full of energy....Triptaka worked out their own sound and I'm happy especially for the vocals by Graeme Cornies" (3 stars)

- NINa @ Fabryka Industrial Rock Webzine

"They are all obviously great musicians and the song writing in these three songs is at worst interesting, At best I would say “Lost And Leading” is better than anything on the last two NIN albums!....I’m sure that there is room for another band of this class and I am surprised that these guys are not on any label"

   About Triptaka
Originally hailing from "The Great White North", this electro rock powerhouse is making waves with their cutting edge sound and style. Combining elements of Metal, Industrial and Progressive Rock, the band’s sound is smart, dark, precise, and aggressive. Their debut album “Second War” is easily comparable in detail, depth, and craftsmanship to rock masterpieces such as Tool’s “Lateralus” or Nine Inch Nails' “The Fragile.” Tired of the lack of innovation and creativity in todays rock scene, the members of Triptaka formed the band in order to create music they wanted to hear. Together they bring a revitalizing energy to a style that has become predictable in recent years. In fact, Triptaka has already been remixed by some of the most well known artists within the industrial genre such as Rhys Fulber (Frontline Assembly/ Delerium), Steve White (KMFDM), Jim Davies and Kieron Pepper (Victory Pill / former Prodigy), and Pete Crossman (Victory Pill) - an impressive roster for an unsigned band. Composed of front man Graeme Cornies, keyboardist James Chapple, and guitarist Dave Kelly, the group has been producing their brand of industrial rock for just under a decade, sculpting their tracks with precision and presenting intelligent art with commercial appeal. Since posting thier music online they have received over 26,000 downloads from download.com and airplay from a variety of radio stations throughout the nation. Triptaka creates timeless, relevant and intoxicating heavy music without pulling any punches. Something fresh, inspired by something forgotten.

How can I describe this CD? How about a musical onslaught. Second War wears you out but leaves you wanting more.

Sonically relentless and darkly foreboding begin to describe the Triptaka experience. For a debut release, the band demonstrates uncompromising attitude and vision. It's a given that if you dig on A Perfect Circle or Nine Inch Nails you will certainly love this music. But, it is arguably just as good and two tracks that really stand out in my mind are "Lost & Leading" and "Tamed", the latter featuring amazing segue and the1-2 assault of lead singer Graeme Cornies and guitarist Dave Kelly. This is a seriously massive attack that should be in heavy rotation on every prog rock radio station. "Suspended" kicks off the disc at a blistering pace with big, piercing guitar riffs and the rest of the disc never lets up.

As I said, it wears you out but leaves you wanting so much more.

Triptaka is relentless and at the same time addicting, and gets better with each play. This is a fascinating group that belongs at Lollapalooza banging with the bigger bands. Creative and explosive, relevant and precise...............this effort is brutally intense and overwhelmingly explosive. You won't stop listening. In a genre that has become predictable and stagnant, Tripkata injects life and creativity. This disc is a must-have.

Bitty clouds and tiny rainbows hiding behind every tree
So much love inside, drunk and ready to do anything!
I know everything you’re doing and I agree
Slithering skin… all over each other
Smooth, sweet, out of control…
Bring me in, take me, make me do it, set me free!
